I was running material theme on site in the standard wordpress offering in godaddy. It took forever in dashboard to load pages, when i loaded images I often lost server connection. It was horrible and unusable. I called godaddy and they said the problem was solved by moving to their cpanel more expensive option as that had a higher version of php. I paid the extra money and the site works much better. It would be great if the presale documentation said use the most current version of php. It was a hassle to move the site and would have been easier to do it once. Just letting you know that materialize theme does not work consistently on older versions of php which are the php standard of the retail offering.
